I am an avid collector of wasp nests (Dolichovespula, Vespula, Vespa, Polistes) to use as displays in my home. I have a total of seventeen mature bald-faced "hornet" (Dolichovespula maculata) nests and five of those are 2 feet tall and over 40 inches in circumference! I also have one mature eastern yellowjacket (Vespula maculifrons) nest, one mature "hybrid" yellowjacket (Vespula flavopilosa) nest, one mature European hornet (Vespa crabro) nest, and two mature aerial yellowjacket (Dolichovespula arenaria) nests in my collection. I have some huge red wasp (Polistes annularis) nests in my collection as well... one of which is 13 inches across (over one foot in diameter)! I would be highly interested in obtaining some exceptionally large or MAMMOTH nests from you! Any species is fine with me as long as the nests are gigantic. I would be forever grateful to you if you could possibly help me in my quest for enormous nests. Of course, I would be more than happy to cover any expenses to have them sent to me. I have enclosed some photos of a couple of my larger nests to give you an idea of the size that I am looking for. The bigger the better! I hope that you enjoy my photos. :o)
