Dear Willie and Dorothy --
I just wanted to thank both of you for helping us out with our "bee situation"! Dorothy, your information and
calming explanations immediately made me feel better. The reference to "Chaim Yankel" didn't hurt either! You made
me feel more comfortable about my bees in just one phone conversation! Willie, you were so great! Not only were you prompt
but your enthusiasm and personality were absolutely charming!! My kids were enthralled by your explanations, conversation
and sense of humor! I was thrilled by your speed, accuracy and extremely reasonable charge! I just wanted to let you know
my handyman came and filled up the hole and now we are happy and bee-free once again!
You guys are the best!

I am interested in becoming involved in the bee removal business in your area. Your company has built an infrastructure
and it seems prudent to explore my interest with your company. If expansion of your business is within your mandate then I
would be interested in your ideas as to how our involvment could be of benefit to our respective companies.
My family has been involved in the beekeeping industry for forty-two years. We have produced honey in Manitoba, pollinated
canola in Manitoba as well as Alberta. In addition we have pollinated almonds in California, kiwi fruit in New Zealand, and
blueberries in the Maritimes.

I would like a rough quote by email to get rid of these two nests.

and ten feet above, a second floor deck of our home. They've been there a couple years, and though they haven't yet bothered
anyone, the colony seems to be growing and I don't want to have any problems with them. I've been advised to exterminate
them but I hate to do that - I'd rather have them go away quietly... or be removed.

comment: I have a question of a different kind. I am an actor currently working on a play called Humble Boy. In it he
describes the removal of his fathers swarm by beekeepers. He says that they placed a white sheet on the ground, and using
a smoker to pacify the bees, they gathered them out of the air. Have you ever heard about this technique? If you use a smoker
on a bee in flight, will it fall directly from the sky? Any information you might have on how to collect bees "in the
wild" or a website you can refer me to, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

comment: I have 3 holes in my cinder block. (Looks like the top of a bowling ball) I don't know what purpose they serve
(we just bought this house a year ago) and bees have been seen flying in and out of one of the holes. I can't mow the lawn
close by because they chase me away. I first noticed them when I was digging up weeds beside the house and the shovel accidentally
hit the block. A couple came flying out at me. I noticed them probably a little over a month ago. I'm not sure exactly how
long they have been there for. My husband wants to block the hole. I don't want to harm them, I just want them to go away.
I thought if he did block the hole, they would find another exit, somehow, and might find a way into our home. He said that
our home is cinder block and they won't be able to get in. I still don't believe him and rather not block the hole. We want
to start painting the outside of our house soon but we can't because of the bees. I'm scared they might be in our attic, a
lso. I saw a few flying up by the vent. I don't and won't go into the attic. There is some vermiculite up there and it
needs to be removed. So we don't want to disturb it to make it airborne. At least that was the advice of the home inspector.
Please give me some advice and let me know what, if anything can be done, and how costly it will be. Unfortunately, my husband
lost his job last year, 4 months after we moved in, and he's just been taking jobs on the side to get us by. I'm allergic
to bee stings, so I really want to get something done. Thanks for your time.

seen before. I have lived here for 33 years. I have been on the web and asked a few other insect specialist who say that
the insect I saw was a scoliid wasp. However, when I pull up pictures of this wasp, it looks nothing like the creature I
saw. Please understand that this is not an exageration. This was a huge insect, at least 2-21/2 inches in length, then it
had a hard curved stinger about 1/4 inch long. It had dragonfly type wings and was huge in circumference...like a bumble
bee and was bright yellow and black like a bumblee bee. Its body appeared to taper down and looked like a dragon fly rear
end then had that long stinger. It couldn't fly parrallel to the ground, it flew at an angle. Have you seen one of these
and if so what is it? I am just curious...it was the scariest bug I have ever seen. Thank you for your time. Teresa Moss
P.S. To
an untrained person, I would say that a bee and a dragonfly had offspring.

comment: Bees have made their home in a hole in the side of our house. There was a hole between the bricks (drilled for
running cables, I guess, that was no longer used) and the bees have made themselves at home. They are not aggressive--my
husband mows out there and both he and my son walk back and forth past it and while the bees will buzz all around, no has
been stung. However, lately, I've begun to find just one or two (dead) in the house and I'm afraid that if we just close
off the hole to kill them, they'll find an alternate route into the house! Can you help?

I live in Wausau, Wisconsin and we have had a massive amount of yellow jackets in our yard.
They are continuously making new nest in our attic outside vents. we clean them and kept the nest to the minimum and they
keep coming back. Is there anything we can do to the vents to keep them from coming back and re-nesting? We have no fruit
trees. we keep everything fairly clean. The only thing we where thinking is that there was a lot of pine trees in our yard
that were hollow where they we living and now that we cut them all down they decided to now use the house?
Would appreciate any advise.

I live in port Charlotte, Florida. Recently I had all my trees pruned and that when the tree climber pointed out a bee hive
with what looks like "yellow jackets" up in the tree. It is approximately 2 or 3 feet long about 18" wide and
perhaps 8 or more inches thick. There are bees all over it.
What is the procedure/cost for having them removed? The tree man suggested I left it alone and if I wanted to to wait
for cold weather to break off parts of the hive for homey. But I'd just as soon as keep buying honey at the store and avoid
the stings. But I am affraid that someone may get hurt so I don't think I should just leave it there. The nest is only 7 feet
off the ground, and quite exposed now that the tree has been trimmed. What do you advise?
My Condo Association has a large planting area (100 yard by 20 yds) and just about the entire bed is filled with bees.
The planting bed has Palm Trees and non flowering bushes but we have an unbelievable number of bees. They tend to hover near
the ground. This just started this year.
Can you give me a rough estimate on what it would cost to get rid of these bees.

I am looking for someone to remove swarming bees from what I think is in a outdoor sofit. The building is located at xxxx
Pintree Drive Miami Beach, FL
Thank you
I'm in Los Altos, California (Santa Clara County), San Francisco Bay Area.
We've always had honey bees living in one of our huge, old, olive
tree, and we love them! They let us watch them while they are so busy
and have never been aggressive and pollenate our fruits, vegetables,
herbs....
Every now and then I guess it gets a bit cramped for them and they
swarm and leave us for a year or two. But they always come back. :-)
Well, this year they must have swarmed to looked for a larger home and
moved into the eaves of our roof and attic. Again, this would not
concern us except for the fact that we have to get our house re-roofed
and the roofers won't come with the bees there.
So, we need someone to come and get the bees. I would prefer a
beekeeper who *wants* the bees. These are sweet honey bees (Black
Italians?) that have never been aggresive or even stung anyone. But
if we have to, we'll have to bring in an exterminator.
I really hate to do that because I've always felt that living with
bees around us was a positive and mutually beneficial partnership. We
aren't beekeepers and we are not trying to get honey from them, but
they are still pollenating all of our plants for us (and everyone who
lives close to us)!
However, we can't get our roof fixed until they are removed.
Do you know of anyone in this area that can help us?
Thank you SO much for your help.

I am in queens, new york. All the exterminators will kill them. Do you have any one who can do this?
In my neighbors tree a huge swarm of bees moved into a hallow branch. The last two years they were in our tree. They
never built a hive they just came in a swarm hung out for a month, left for a few weeks then came back for another month.
After two years of this we cut the tree down. Now it seems they have permanent residence in the neighbors tree. They came
mid summer last year and have never left. I live in Michigan so they must of slept through the winter, now on nice sunny days
they are starting to come out and explore. My main concern is my children, the tree is only ten feet from where we play.
I am also scared to mow my lawn because I have read they dont like the loud noise. I just dont know what to do. Any information
you could help me with would be great.
I am in new york State and have 5 buildings to get
honey bees out off when spring comes. one the bees are
going in between the chimeny and flasing do the

screen funnel and hive but cannot put screen funnel
between chimeny and flassing doyou thank i should plug
the entrance and drill a new one in the side of the
house that wood make a better place to put the funnel?

PLEASE CONTACT ME ABOUT REMOVING A BEE HIVE THAT IS IN A TREE IN MY FRONT YARD AT MY HOME IN GILBERT ARIZONA.
Do you remove/collect honey bees in Arcadia FL?

Is there a fee?
I live in California and I hope to get your opinion as
to what I should do regarding getting rid of the paper
wasps and/or yellow jackets hives found on my
property.
There are two hives underneath the exterior overhang
of my one story house. One company proposes to kill
the stinging insects with checmical and then remove
the hives. Another company proposes not using
chemical, they would put a box underneath the hives
and scrap the hives down to drop into the box and take
the live insects to a rural area for release.
What is your recommendation regarding the removal of
stinging insects and hives?
I appreciate your timely reply.
I live in Gotha, Florida, just outside of Orlando. A while back, we noticed a small hive in the Camphor tree in our backyard.
Now the hive is enormous! I couldn't tell you what kind of bees they are, or what exactly the hive looks like. It happens
to be on the branch that our daughter's swing hangs on, so we'd really like to get rid of it somehow!
We would like to know if you could give us an estimate, or if you don't service this area, could you recommend someone
who does?
we are having with bees in our home in Pinecrest. I would like you to come to our home and get rid of the bees. Also
if you could arrange for the gentleman who you talked about who bee proofs the house. The house had the bees when we bought
it in March of 2003. We paid to have them removed and the entire ceiling of our quest room removed and reinstalled. It is
a little over a year later and we are having the same problem.
There are bees in the morning around the eves of my house. I have been told that we shouldn't just exterminate since
they might be honey bees. I live in Los Angeles (Sherman Oaks, actually, a section of Los Angeles) and need something done
very quickly since I have a large party scheduled for the 8th of August.
Thanks so much for your attention.
Please e-mail me back your info. I have a tree in the back that has hundreds of bees, there does not seem to be a hive
but they all fly aroung this one tree in my backyard. The bees frequently get knocked to the ground by the pool activities
and somone usually steps on it. They also fly into the pool and scare my daughters all the time. they have both been stung
twice, and obviously do not like bees. Please let me know if you can help.
I would like to know if bees will make their hive near water and if removed by a professional how do you keep them from
making their hive in the same location?
I found your website and found it very helpful. However, When I tried to fill out the request for a specialist in my
area, I got a java error and would not let me submit my information. I would like to have someone affiliated with you call
me regarding a bee problem I am having in my home. My home number is (303) . I live in Colorado and would appreciate if
you could forward my request on to someone in my area. I live in a town called Thornton, but is in the Denver Metro area.

I am the president of our condo association on North Hutchinson Island, St. Lucie County, (Ft. Pierce). We have a canary
palm that has some type of bee hive wrapped almost entirely around the trunk of the tree. It is at least 12 inches high.
Our tree trimmers will not trim until we get rid of the bees.
I cannot find anyone in St. Lucie County to do this for us. We suspect the bees are hornets. Do you have any suggestions
as to where we can get help???
I look forward to receiving an e-mail from you. Thank you.
I'm a beekeeper in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. We have many contacts with pest control companies
and do bee removals within about about an 80 mile radius of Raleigh/Durham,
NC. For honey bee removals call 919-xxx xxxx- removal rates are very
reasonable and every effort is made to keep travel and other incidental
costs at a minimum.

I have honeybees coming out of the vents below a flat roof in my house. I assume the bees have a nest in the area between
the roof and the ceiling. Do you know anyone in the Berkeley California (94708) area that can remove them?
Is it necessary to drill holes in the ceiling of the room below looking for the hive? If so, do you know someone that
can not only remove the bees but also do a good repair on the ceiling so that it cannot be seen.
Thanks.
